The 21-st Conference on the Spectroscopy of Biological Molecules (ECSBM 2026)
will be held between August 30 (Sunday) and September 03 (Thursday), 2026 in Cluj-Napoca,
Romania.
Cluj-Napoca, located in northwestern Romania on the Someș River, is widely regarded as the historic capital of Transylvania and one of
the country’s leading academic, cultural, and business hubs. Its lively city center, shaped by centuries of
multicultural heritage, grew around landmarks such as the 14th century St. Michael’s Church.
With a strong student
community and a dynamic innovation ecosystem, the city brings together universities, research, IT and creative industries, alongside museums,
galleries, and green spaces, all easy to reach from the conference area.
The 21-st ECSBM 2026
will be hosted by the Babeş-Bolyai University (Campus Economica).
