In less than 9 month the top three leaders of US Department of Energy visited PNNL and EMSL’s NMR facility. NMR spectroscopy was one of the analytical techniques, which was engaged in IS3 efforts to in situ investigated phenomena associated CO2 subsurface sequestration. IS3 was part of the Carbon Sequestration Initiative (CSI) a 2009 Pacific Northwest LDRD.
