CAPABILITIES

Projects

NMR Laboratory

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a powerful tool for obtaining detailed molecular structure and dynamics information of a system regardless of whether the system is in a solid, a liquid, a gaseous, or a supercritical state. Our laboratory is capable of both liquid- and solid-state investigation with emphasis on solid-state materials. Solids or semi-solids state materials NMR investigation most of the time is made through Magic Angle Spinning technique. Our Laboratory has the capability of various types of experiments at variable fields, spinning rates (up to 35 kHz) and temperatures based on experiment unique requirements.
- Bruker 400 MHz NMR spectrometer
- Bruker 600 MHz NMR spectrometer

EPR Laboratory

Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectrometer is powerful and due to his low dimensions is mobile and can be used at different locations. EPR spectroscopy is a non-destructive analysis method which is extremely sensitive method and so require low amount of sample. EPR and NMR spectroscopies are the two complementary Magnetic Resonance methods which raise the number of active elements at the whole Periodic Table.

MRI Laboratory

MRI machine is capable to handle various materials and processes type of investigation from Bio- to Materials, from Environment to Energy, etc. It is the first non-human MRI unit in our country, has a magnetic field of 7.0 Tesla and is capable of deep-inside and surface investigations with micro-meter resolution.
