About us

Romanian Magnetic Resonance starts at Cluj-Napoca and has a tradition of almost half century. First Electron Paramagnetic Resonance was installed in first half of sixth decade last century. Until end of ’60 first Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer was available.

From 2002 two new generation spectrometers are available. Alongside X band Adani Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectrometer (EPR) a Bruker Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer, for both solid- and liquid state samples, is available.

In 2009 second Bruker Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer join NMR Laboratory. With 14.1 Tesla magnetic field the spectrometer raise and hold the highest magnetic field value in country. At the beginning of 2012 first Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine of 7 Tesla for Bio-Medical investigations is bring to field. National Center for Magnetic Resonance has provided and provides services for both Academic and Industrial Research.
